KARIN L. MCMILLENPresident & Founder

Karin attended St. Olaf College, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Music Degree, and the University of Iowa, where she was awarded a Masters in Music Degree. In addition to a demanding professional singing career, including solo performances at venues like Carnegie Hall in New York City, Karin has worked for several Fortune 500 companies, including L’Orèal, Putnam Investments and Zurich Insurance. For the past ten years Karin has worked at River Stone Capital, LLC, a private consulting, investment and publishing company where Karin is the Managing Director. On the non-profit side, Karin has worked in development, human resources, and board management at Interlochen Center for the Arts, the Tanglewood Institute and New England Conservatory.

AMEESH R. PATEL, MD, MPHChief Medical & Scientific Officer

Originally from Pittsburgh, Ameesh graduated medical school and went on to pursue research and other endeavors in the private sector, including healthcare consulting and management of non-profit organizations. He earned a Masters in Public Health from New York Medical College specializing in Health Policy and Management. He continues his medical research and was most recently published in the Journal of Neurology. He founded a non-profit publishing company, The Big Eyed Children’s Publishing House. Ameesh has served on the board of United Way of Greater Lehigh Valley and the Wescoe Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis. Ameesh is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
